Air Commodore Christopher Nkencho Abiagom [Rtd]. MNI
Air Commodore Chris Abiagom is a retired Nigerian Air Force pilot with vast operational experience. He served four duty tours with the Economic Community of West African States Monitoring Group (ECOMOG) in Liberia, the last of which was as Chief Air Officer. He also commanded the 97 Special Operations Group, Port Harcourt, as well as the Air Task Group that was part of the Joint Task Force in Calabar. In addition, he served as Command Operations Officer, Tactical Air Command.
Air Commodore Abiagom later served as Deputy Director of Training at the Defence Intelligence Agency, Director of Research at Defence Headquarters and Director of Recruitment, Resettlement and Reserve at Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force. He retired as Director of Personnel Services, Defence Headquarters, 2010. |
